But it’s so hard to learn.
The number one questions that James and I talk to product marketers is ‘what is go-to-market?’. It’s a crucial part of the puzzle to unlock for sustainable, effective business growth, but difficult to grasp and put into action.
You can read about the theory, sure. But the best way to understand GTM is to recap the foundations, learn by doing, and have a safe, supportive environment to ask questions.

Launching our second cohort
We’ve updated the program based on feedback (more video walkthroughs, more collaboration time on live sessions) and we’re getting ready to welcome our second cohort!
WTF Is Go-To-Market is a unique, five-week short course for B2B startup marketers to learn the skills, build confidence, and get the tools to build a customer-focused go-to-market strategy.
The course starts on 13 June and runs through July 15 - with 1-hour live sessions on Tuesdays and 1-hour office hours for 1:1 support on Thursdays.
In this time, we’ll guide marketers through six modules from ground zero to build a fully-formed strategy, including:
Understanding the functional GTM components
How to really know your customer
What it means to define your value proposition
How to launch your product into the market
Why you need to communicate your GTM strategy
How to iterate your GTM strategy to success
We’re offering over 40+ hours of education, including:

Slack community of your peers for ongoing support
Weekly homework assignments to put your new skills to the test
